Take a Walk on the Wild Side
Staying true to its name, Belle Vue Road, despite ongoing construction, is still providing us with a beautiful view. This time in the form of a host of beautiful wild flowers: white daisies, red poppies and other colourful and delightful wild species of florals for our eyes to feast on.
Why isn’t the world awash with wildflowers? It should be mandatory to fill vacant grass areas with these beauteous flowerets. Wildflowers can transform a previously not seen and unnoticed space into a mini world that enchants our minds away from the mundane and the pedestrian. A very worthy and mighty achievement for some humble blossoms.
The lower end of Belle Vue Road has been transformed by wildflowers and turned a normally mediocre walk into a captivating, meditative stroll, where you literally stop to, not so much smell, but to look at the flowers. A genuinely uplifting experience!
Walking around Little Woodhouse there are floral surprises everywhere and they are an absolute joy to see. So much so, they’ve been digitally captured to share their beauty far and wide. Well done, Little Woodhouse. Here’s some real flower power! Enjoy!
