
Little Woodhouse is an inner city area of Leeds, close to the city centre, the Universities of Leeds and Leeds Beckett and to the Leeds General Infirmary. Little Woodhouse is a designated Neighbourhood Area for neighbourhood planning.
Neighbourhood Plan submitted – publicising the Plan before Examination
- The Little Woodhouse Neighbourhood Plan is now submitted for Examination. The Council is publicising the Plan and seeking comments before the Examination takes place, The documents are on the Neighbourhood Plan – Documents page. The consultation runs for 6 weeks between 19 January – 2 March 2026.
- This Draft Plan has emerged from views and feedback from many local people over the past few years and amendments from a formal consultation,* so this is a last chance to give comments before Examination. All the comments received will be considered by the Examination.
- A print copy of the Plan documents is available to view at the following places: Leeds Central Library; Swarthmore Education Centre 2-7 Woodhouse Square LS3 1AD; M&S Archive Michael Marks Building University of Leeds LS2 9LP ; Left Bank Centre Cardigan Road LS6 1LJ.
- The documents are open for comments between 19 January to 2 March 2026, which will be submitted to the Examiner along with the Plan. Comments on online survey https://surveys.leeds.gov.uk/s/LWReg16 or email npsupport@leeds,gov.uk
- *The Little Woodhouse Neighbourhood Plan held a formal consultation period from Monday 20 May to Friday 2 August 2024 (the Pre Submission consultation) and considered all comments and amendments. You will find all the revised Neighbourhood Plan documents here.
