Little Woodhouse is an inner city area of Leeds, first developed for housing in the nineteenth century on fields that had been used for pasture and tenting (laying out cloth). It lies next to the city centre and close to the Universities of Leeds and Leeds Beckett as well as the Leeds General Infirmary. It has more than its share of listed buildings and a rich variety of Victorian streets and green spaces, making it a popular choice for students as well as longer term residents for its convenient location, beauty and quietness.
